Adam McKain has been selected to join the Agribusiness Association of Iowa Tomorrow’s Ag Leader Class and participate in the 2008 program.

The objective of this leadership course is to identify up and coming leaders in Iowa’s agribusiness industry and provide an opportunity for personal and professional development among these leaders.

McKain has been working in the ag industry for six years. Currently, he is a crop consultant with Crop Production Services in Gibson; he has been with the company for three years. During his free time, McKain enjoys spending time with his wife, Evie, and their 2-year-old daughter, Addison. He also likes to farm, golf, boat and spend time with friends. McKain lives in Oskaloosa.

Throughout the year-long TAL experience, McKain will learn cutting edge information about agricultural issues, develop his leadership skills and become a part of a network of agribusiness leaders throughout Iowa. McKain will have the opportunity to utilize his new leadership skills and knowledge during a trip to Washington, D.C., in July where he will be meeting with congressional leaders, national association executives and USDA officials.
