Archer Daniels Midland awards $1,000 scholarship to Rose Hill teen

The Oskaloosa Herald

Archer Daniels Midland along with the National FFA organization recognizes Ryan Augustine, of Rose Hill, with a $1,000 scholarship. Augustine plans to attend Iowa State University this fall with the intention to major in general agriculture.

Augustine is the son of Dan and Teresa Augustine and he is a member of the North Mahaska High School FFA chapter.

Each year the National FFA awards more than $2 million in scholarships to its members. For the third year, ADM has partnered with the FFA to offer scholarships to students who have displayed academic achievement and involvement with extracurricular activities.

“ADM is proud to partner with the FFA to help future agricultural leaders reach their full potential through continuing agricultural education,” Des Moines Oilseed Processing Plant Manager Mike Carstens said. “ADM wishes Ryan Augustine success as he pursues future academic and career goals in the agriculture industry.”
