Blood center receives donations

The Oskaloosa Herald

FREMONT

The Southeast Iowa Blood Center mobile unit drew 24 units of blood on April 7 at the Community Center in Fremont.

Martha Helleur, Martin Scharff and Kathy Street were new donors. Coleen Bueltel attained the two gallon plateau.

You can donate blood every eight weeks. One pint of blood can help save the lives of up to three patients. One out of every five people entering the hospital will need blood products.
