Iowa Department of Natural Resources conservation officers Mike Ryan, left, and Kirby Bragg conduct a boating safety class Tuesday afternoon at Russell Wildlife Area for Mrs. Van Wardhuizen’s fifth-grade class. All Oskaloosa fifth-graders visited the site as part of their annual field trip to Russell Wildlife Area. The fifth-graders learned about different outdoor activities at seven learning stations.
