The Oskaloosa Herald

OSKALOOSA

Joe Gray was a School Board member for many years. Back in the late 1970s, he started the Joe Gray Penmanship Award to encourage students to have legible handwriting and to take pride in their handwriting.

His widow, Maxine, still sponsors the award.
