The YMCA of Oskaloosa Iowa Board of Directors is seeking candidates for:

Executive Director

a visionary leader who will create a culture of excellence within the YMCA. In order to be considered, candidates must have exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record that demonstrates an ability to successfully promote the YMCA’s services and activities to the community, raise funds through annual and capital campaigns, and develop and manage a staff with assurance and accountability.

A four-year college degree is required, with a minimum of five years prior experience in management of a recreation facility or related experience including direct supervision of multiple levels of staff. Qualified candidates will have excellent budget management (in excess of $750,000), project management, and communication skills; personal values consistent with the YMCA mission; and the ability to build effective relationships with diverse groups through cooperative efforts. The selected candidate will be required to achieve and maintain the YMCA Senior Director Certification through training and leadership development with the YMCA of the USA. A pre-employment background check will also be required.
