Doll signs letter to play soccer in Kansas

Daniel Doll signed a letter of intent to play soccer for Manhattan Christian College Wednesday night prior to the Indians’ match with Norwalk.
Doll is a 4-year starter for the Oskaloosa soccer team and leaves as the career leader in scoring for the Indians.
He is the first Oskaloosa boys’ soccer player to sign a national letter of intent to play college soccer.
This season, Daniel has moved back to defense and has provided invaluable leadership to the team by anchoring a much improved defense.
According to Manhattan head coach Dr. Rick Wright, Doll’s versatility and skills will make him a valuable member of the MCC soccer program.
Manhattan Christian College is a member of the NCCAA Div. II and fields teams in men’s and women’s soccer and basketball, along with men’s baseball and women’s volleyball.
Five of their six teams qualified for their respective National Tournaments this past year.
The men’s soccer team has won the NCCAA Div. II National Championship two of the last three years, winning in 2005 and 2007. From 1990-2007 the Soccer team has a record of 305-67-8 with numerous wins over NAIA colleges in Kansas.
Manhattan Christian College has qualified for the NCCAA National Soccer Tournament, played in Kissimmee, Fla., for 10 consecutive years.
